I  design pieces that are stylish, simple, comfortable and make you feel confident and inspired. My love for photography, printmaking and drawing all feature prominently as part of my process and designs.

Travel is also a huge inspiration for me. I love the utilitarian aspects of traditional costumes and the uniforms of different cultures  I love pieces that can be pulled out of a carry-on bag ready to wear and keep you instantly in style.

Quality fabrics that wash well are a non-negotiable aspect in what I create because clothing should be produced to last for my customers and for our planet.  

jq loves u is run by myself with the help of my family and friends and all of my designs are created and made with love in the USA.

I believe in giving back.  I am a certified kundalini yoga teacher and I teach meditation every Wednesday at Stein senior center in New York City because mediation will make the world a more peaceful place one beautiful breath at a time.
